Deborah Dooley, Ph.D.

I trained as a psychotherapist in the early eighties and completed a doctorate in health and human service in the nineties.  Prior to this I worked in education and training programs for schools, religious organizations and vocational training programs.

I specialized in biofeedback/neurofeedback and worked for one of the first brainwave biofeedback seminar programs in the eighties.   The neurofeedback training opened the realm of preverbal and somatic awareness, the aspect of you that is preconceptual and preverbal. The emotional body reflects symptoms we become conscious of. This stimulates the need for self-awareness and personal growth. These emotional symptoms are the feedback symptom, reflecting aligned and imbalanced aspects of the self. These different aspects of the self: mind, emotions and body, each require a certain set of skills to facilitate integrated whole healing.  I have now integrated these skills into a synthesized program of healing art skills which is discussed in my book.

I began work as a psychotherapist in the mid eighties. I was fortunate to train with two influential teachers, Faisal Muqaddam (Diamond Heart Work) and Brian Hall (Hall/Tonna Values). These two teacher's work profoundly influenced the work I have synthesized and mentor

A model of conscious development and personal transformation, creates a new matrix for understanding the evolutionary path of conscious development, along with the specific skills to support you on your journey.

The book, Journeying into Wholeness is an introduction to my work.
